TGIF, y’all! What a week this has been! I have some really exciting news to share with you in the coming weeks, but for today I’m going to share a few things I have really enjoyed lately and think highly enough of to recommend to you. I know every dollar counts, which is why I have a policy of only sharing products that I love.
Maison Miru tiny crystal studs // You know those Instagram ads that offer to give you a free product, you just have to pay shipping? That’s how I was introduced to Maison Miru. I did a little bit of research and payed with PayPal just in case… but it was legit and my gorgeous crystal studs arrived the next week.
I have been looking for a pair of earrings I can wear every day, and these are absolutely perfect. I have two piercings in my ears, so I keep this in the second piercing and pretty much never take them out.
Bliss Makeup Melt Oil-Free Makeup Remover Wipes // I used to be very loyal to one brand of makeup wipes. I used them for years. I felt a little bold at Target about a month ago and decided to give these a try… they’re hands down the best makeup removing wipes I’ve ever used.
For starters, they actually remove all of my makeup. They’re gentle on my sensitive skin. They’re only $6 for a pack of 30. They’re cruelty-free, and also free of all of the chemicals that dry your skin out and do bad things to it. Need I say more?!
Benefit Brow Bar // When I was in an LDR and traveling to Cincinnati all of the time, I always talked about going to Benefit Brow Bar in Kenwood Mall… and for some reason, I just never did it. Fast forward to three weeks ago (five years later), my eyebrows are so bad I can’t bring myself to look in the mirror, and I really don’t have it in me to drive 30 minutes out of my way to get my brows threaded.
Y’all, Amanda saved my brows. They’ve never looked this good in my entire life. They actually look full! I splurged and purchased some Benefit brow gel to help me replicate the results.
Drunk Elephant Protini Polypeptide Cream // I received a good sized sample of this in the July PLAY! by Sephora subscription box… right around the same time I ordered a six month supply of my moisturizer from the Nordstrom Sale. Y’all, this stuff is amazing.
Protini is made of only clean ingredients. It reduces wrinkles and fine lines, and strengthens and moisturizes skin. When I use this, my skin just glows. It’s a splurge, so I’m holding out until the holidays when I typically receive a Sephora gift card.
Kristin Ess Weightless Shine Leave In Conditioner // This was a Target find on one of the trips that I went in for one thing and left with seven. However, I credit this with saving my long hair. My hair is fine and tangles super easily. It got to a point in August that I thought I was going to have to chop my hair off because I didn’t have the upper body strength or energy to deal with it. Then I purchased this detangler, and what a difference it has made! Not only does it work well, but it smells amazing and helps hydrate the color treated ends of my hair. If you need a detangler, I cannot say enough nice things about this one. (PS – I’m convinced this bottle is going to last forever. I have a lot of hair, wash it every three days, spray generously, and I’ve barely made a dent in this bottle.)
What’s on your Friday favorites list this week? And what’s on tap for this weekend? I’m spending this evening at a comedy show that one of my best friends planned and then brunching Sunday with friends. Whatever you’re getting into this weekend, I hope you have a blast! And to everyone dealing with the hurricanes right now, you are in my prayers. Stay safe!
