My love for IT Cosmetics is no secret. I had my makeup done at an in-store event in February, and I’ve been replacing all of the products in my makeup bag with IT Cosmetics products since. Not only do their products feel amazing on my sensitive skin, but their partnership with Look Good Feel Better gets me every time. (Look Good Feel Better teaches beauty techniques to women undergoing cancer treatments. When I was battling cancer, I felt so far from beautiful and confident; I’m so glad that an organization like this exists.)
I’m really excited to tell you a little but more about my favorite lip products from IT Cosmetics, as I can’t say enough good things about them. They each serve a different purpose, so I carry all four on me at all times! Haha. You can never have too many lip products in your bag, especially when they all work so well 😉
I don’t wear makeup every day, and when I do, it’s typically just a five minute face. This hydrating lip treatment is perfect for that! It glides on like an extra silky lip balm, and the Rose shade is a nice, natural, sheer tint. The color is build-able, so if you want something a little deeper to take you from work to play, apply an extra coat, and you’re all set. It’s also a nice foundation to wear under the Butter Gloss.
I love this sassy, hot pink lipstick so much that I have it in another shade on my wish list! Like all of the other IT Cosmetics lip products I’ve tried, this is extremely moisturizing. It slides on much easier than any other traditional lipstick that I own. A big selling point on this one for me is that I’ve never experienced bleeding. (This is thanks to the anti-aging properties!) I usually use a lip liner with lipstick, but I don’t have to worry about it with this one.
Other things to note: This evens out lip tone, which is a big help for me because my lips aren’t pigmented properly! It also includes collagen and Hyaluronic filling spheres.
This is the first IT Cosmetics product I ever owned. It’s one of those magic products that looks good on everyone! (My mom has olive skin, and it looks amazing on her, as well. It’s so rare when a color looks good on both of us.) This is described as a “luxe lip balm” and I could not agree more. Unlike most other lip balms, this product has anti-aging properties. The color on this one is build-able, as well, so I typically just use one coat of this. If you’re pale with cool undertones like I am, this will be a pretty, bold pink on you.
If I was playing favorites, this would be my favorite. I don’t usually care for lip glosses, but this product has converted me back over to “Team Gloss.” (RIP Team Matte. We had a good run.) I love this product because it’s super hydrating, but my favorite thing about this product is that it’s a gloss/stain combo.
I own products that are gloss/stain combos, and none of them work quite like this one. Usually, the gloss wears off, the stain goes with it, and I’m left with patchy looking lips. With this product, when the gloss wears off, the stain is uniform and consistent. I can even apply lip balm over the stain if I need a boost of hydration, and it doesn’t smear across my face like so many other stains do.
As I mentioned earlier, I’m slowly replacing items in my makeup bag. One of the products I haven’t replace yet is my lip liner. The one I use is only $4, and I’m including it because it goes really nicely with the “Rose” and “Naturally Flushed” shades. If you are interested, it is NYX’s Slim Lip Pencil in Nude Pink.
I used the IT Cosmetics Your Lips But Better Waterproof Lip Liner Stain when I had my makeup done, and I was really pleased. It’s a little pricier than my $4 liner, but it goes on much smoother and is waterproof. It also has a little sharpener on the bottom of the product.
Have you tried IT Cosmetics products yet? What did you think?
