It’s pretty obvious that I love seersucker. I recently realized that I haven’t purchased anything seersucker in quite a while. I’ve been perusing my favorite stores for the next piece of my seersucker wardrobe, and I thought it would be fun to share my seersucker finds with you!
One of the biggest advantages of seersucker is that the fabric is designed to keep you cool. Seersucker is woven in such a way that some threads bunch together; this causes the fabric to be mostly held away from the skin when worn, which facilitates heat dissipation and air circulation. (I paraphrased that from Wikipedia; you can read the whole thing here if you’re curious.) What I’m saying is that buying seersucker in the dead of summer is a totally justified purchase 😉
Anyway, here are some of the things that I found that I love. They’re all under $100, and some are even as affordable as $10!
On a completely unrelated note, I just want to say I’m so thankful for the blogging community. I was having a rough morning, and Jenny, Jordyn, and Annaliese had me laughing in no time. I’m so thankful for kind people and the people that I’ve been able to meet because of this blog. If you’re reading this, I’m so thankful for your support, and I hope you’re having the best day ever. (Yes, you!)
What is everyone up to today? Have you shopped any of the major sales lately? I think everyone knows about the NSale (my picks are here), but Ann Taylor also has 60 dresses marked down to $35. Most of the dresses are good for work and play, and Ann Taylor pieces typically last for years.
One final thing – the giveaway I’m co-hosting is still going on. If you’re following me on Twitter and Instagram, that’s already two entries, you just have to register them 🙂
