Y’all, I’m not sure what’s going on with me. I usually love color, especially as the weather gets warmer. But lately I’ve been gravitating toward black pieces instead of my typical Lilly Pulitzer favorites.
Here are a few things I can’t wait to add to my wardrobe, all of them under $100!
Sleeveless Romper • Mesh Bikini (top & bottom) • Tie Back Romper
Draper James Mini Skirt • Faux Leather Tote • Shift Dress
Off the Shoulder Top • Monogrammed Ring • Thin Band • Sunglasses • Fringe Heels
Sleeveless Romper • I love how versatile this piece is! It would be perfect dressed up for a GNO or dressed down for a concert. (PS – If you like backless pieces, this one is open back!)
Mesh Bikini (Top & Bottom) • I’ve been really loving mesh lately, because it can add a sexy touch to the most simple, basic pieces. The combined cost of the swimsuit is only $56!! This is at the top of my wishlist.
Tie Back Romper • I don’t have a vacation planned yet for the summer, but I want this to wear on vacation! Haha. It’s a super easy piece and comes in three other colors.
Draper James Mini Skirt • Confession – I bought this today. When Nicole and I went to Draper James, I tried on this skirt and then tried on the dress that I ended up buying. But I couldn’t stop thinking about this skirt, so I ended up ordering it because it’s on sale. (If you have concerns about the flap in the front, it’s basically extra fabric. There’s a normal skirt under there, so a wardrobe malfunction is a little less likely!)
Faux Leather Tote • I own the reversible version of this bag in nude and blush, and I carry it all of the time! When I travel, I use it for all of my toiletries, makeup, and hot tools because it’s so easy to clean.
Shift Dress • I can’t get over how chic this dress is! It reminds me so much of Twiggy. It’s available in 12 (!!!) colors!
Off the Shoulder Top • Two of the hottest trends in one piece – off the shoulder and pom poms! I can’t wait to pair this with distressed denim or with white jeans.
Monogrammed Ring • Isn’t this a cute statement ring?! It’s hard to believe it’s only $68!
Thin Band • My absolute favorite piece of jewelry is a thin, channel set diamond band that I wear on my right ring finger. I’ve been on the hunt for a tiny gold band, and this one is under $50!
Sunglasses • I feel like I’m the only person in the world that doesn’t own a pair of Quays! These offer 100% UV protection and are $50.
Fringe Heels • I’m not much of a shoe person, and I wear the same black wedges almost every day because they’re comfortable and professional. Since I’ve started wearing black so frequently, I think these would be a fun addition to my wardrobe! They have fringe and tassels, and they’re $54 with free shipping.
What do y’all think? See anything you want to add to your wardrobe? Happy Tuesday, y’all!
I love black. It's flattering on everyone and it can so easily be transitioned from night to day. & FYI, that ring… it has to go on my wish list!
I like color too but having a few all black looks is oh-so chic!
I try to add color to my outfits, but I always end up defaulting to black. It's just such a versatile color! Gold accents, like the ones you featured, are great at "faking" color, so I go with those. I am loving the tote and dress, btw!Sockwun | ExtraExtravagant.com

Black is the most elegant color. I adore little black dress! Wonderful set of black.
I've totally been gravitating to black too! Maybe we're becoming adults? 😉 Love that off the shoulder top!xo Kyliewww.dressinsparkles.com
