TGIF! I don’t know about y’all, but it feels like this week has lasted forever. I have just kind of been creeping through and poking along waiting for the weekend to get here. Here are a few things that have gotten me through this week:
Sonic Master Blasts • Y’all, I cannot get enough of these. I usually avoid dairy, but I have been craving them like crazy since I got my infusion on Monday! The brownie & cookie dough madness flavor is my favorite! (Please excuse my poor quality photo 😉 )
Discover Weekly on Spotify • I have been dragging this week, but having music playing at my desk has helped me keep going. If you’re unfamiliar with Discover Weekly, it’s a playlist that Spotify creates just for you, and you get a new one each Monday. I am obsessed with this week’s playlist!
theSkimm • I like being informed, but it’s hard to stay on top of everything going on in the world, especially in this insane election year. That’s where theSkimm comes in! If you’re unfamiliar, it’s a (free) brief, daily email updating you on what has happened internationally in the past 24 hours. Not only am I more informed, but I feel much more confident being able to bring up news at the lunch table instead of just telling stories about my beagle. (PS – If you like giveaways, there are plenty of those, as well.)
NeedtoMeet • Scheduling meetings often feels like I’m herding cats. It’s no one’s fault, it’s just difficult to find a date that works well for 25 very busy people. I’ve been using NeedtoMeet at work for the past two weeks, and I can’t even tell y’all how much time it has saved me. You provide people with dates to choose from, they check off what works, and then it gives you a nice little tally and visual. I use it for work, but I imagine it would be helpful with scheduling sorority things, GNO’s, bachelorette parties, etc. Happy planning!
Bakken Invitation Honorees • I only write sponsored posts that I feel make sense with my brand, and the Bakken Invitation post was no exception. I feel so inspired by the 12 honorees. If you haven’t checked it out yet, I highly recommend doing so… and entering the $100 giveaway!
Nashville • I went to Nashville last week, and it was much needed. It provided me with so much clarity about what I want in my future career, and I had so much fun. I almost moved to Nashville after graduation, and I really regret that I didn’t. I hope that within the next two years, Seersucker Sass will be based in Nashville 😉
How has your week been? What’s your Friday favorite?
