I’m really excited to be sharing some photos from my girl’s weekend to Savannah with y’all! Expect to see them sprinkled in here and there over the next month. Today’s photos are from our trip to Tybee Island. It was my first beach trip in five years, and it was beautiful.
My girls at Monograms Markings and More are always spoiling me! My monogram is made of seersucker! (They also have bow bikini tops made of seersucker!) The style of bandeau that I’m wearing is 40% off at the moment and is also available with Lilly fabric.
Nikki’s momma made her a train, so naturally she wore it to the beach!
Nikki’s bikini: Victoria’s Secret
Isn’t she the cutest?!
My gorgeous grand little / the bride-to-be 🙂
None of us had been to Tybee before, and I cannot wait to go back. We got there early, so there weren’t many people yet, and the chair rentals were only $5! We laid in the chairs for a while and drank our Starbucks, then switched over to Calleigh’s famous sangria. (Expect a recipe post next week!) Nikki and I flipped through Vogue together for a bit, and then I did some reading on Leave Your Mark.
Side note, but I’m really tickled that Target sells bikini bottom skirts! I was on steroids when we went to the beach, and they make your skin more sensitive to a lot of things, including sunlight. (I’m pretty sure they’re to blame for the weird burn/heat rash ordeal I have at the moment.) My body was swollen, so not only did having a little more coverage make me feel confident, but it was also great for sun protection. After my last ordeal with melanoma, the last thing I want to do is get skin cancer on my booty.
Have you been to the beach lately? What’s in your beach (or river/lake/pool) bag?
This is not a sponsored post, and all opinions are my own. A big thank you to Monograms Markings and More for providing me with a cute bikini top to wear on vacation. Y’all sure do know how to make a girl feel confident! Thanks for supporting brands that support A Little Seersucker Sass!
