If you’ve been reading along with me for a while, you know that I’m not capable of sitting still. I am always moving, and it seems like I’m always working on at least three projects at once. I absolutely love blogging and strive to be consistent with my posting, so I write whenever I have time. Sometimes that means whipping out my laptop during my lunch break or writing in a coffee shop because I need to kill thirty minutes before I meet my friends for drinks. Having a “Blogging Bag” has been my saving grace!
The Artist Circle backpack from Sakroots is the perfect blogging bag. Unlike bags I’ve used in the past, this snaps shut like a backpack, and also has a cinching feature. There are neat little pockets hidden throughout, and it even comes with a matching pencil bag! The pattern that I’m carrying is called “Radiant One World” from the Sakroots in Session Collection, but there are plenty of other vibrant patterns… and even some floral!
What’s in my Sakroots Blogging Bag?!
Macbook + Charger || I don’t necessarily love toting my laptop around, but since it has everything I need for blogging on it, it just makes sense! I love that my blogging bag cinches, so I don’t have to worry about the most expensive item I own just toppling to its death out of the bag.
Magazines + Book || Whenever I’m lacking inspiration, I like to flip through a magazine. By the time I’m done, I have a whole list of potential blog post topics! I have ridiculously cheap subscriptions to Vogue and Us Weekly through DiscountMags.com. I’m also slowly reading through Leave Your Mark. Aliza speaks the truth, and sometimes I get a little teary when I read the book because I relate so much!
Blogging Notebook || I keep this notebook with me at all times. It’s a running list of post ideas, and I often use it to “bullet point” out a post when I’m feeling inspired, instead of trying to remember all of my ideas hours later when I get home.
Flatlay Background || Confession: The flamingo background you see in lots of my photos is actually a cutting board from Cracker Barrel! Haha. My apartment isn’t exactly picturesque, and my office is very corporate and carpeted, so having something to consistently use as a background is one of my favorite tricks!
Review products || I carry a lot of review products with me in case I write about them while I’m not home. I have quite a few reviews coming in the next month, including the pictured skin care product!
Sakroots pencil case || Things that match make me happy. I love that Sakroots provides a matching pencil case with their backpacks! My pencil case is filled with cute mechanical pencils, highlighters, and erasable pens. I try really hard to be good and keep them in the case, because there’s nothing worse than needing a writing utensil immediately and having to fish it out from the bottom of your bag!
Sticky Notes || I’m not sure if I could function without sticky notes. I write notes to myself, flag pages in magazines, and stick little notes in my agenda and notebook!
Sakroots Artist Circle Daily Agenda || I love how colorful this agenda is! I use it strictly for information related to blogging. I chart out content at the monthly view and make different notes on the daily view like how many views I received on a post in 24 hours, if I received an abnormal amount of repins, something my readers seemed to really enjoy, etc. I’m Type A, so I need my agenda.
If you’re interested in a backpack or blogging bag of your own, you can receive a 15% off discount from Sakroots just by signing up for their emails! Just visit their website by clicking this link, and register in the bottom right hand corner!
Sakroots also provides the opportunity to represent their brand as a college ambassador! If you’re interested, you can receive more information here. I was an ambassador for a brand in college, and I absolutely loved it, so I highly recommend applying! It’s a wonderful experience, and I really think it helped me with blogging.
Now I want to hear from you! Do you have a blogging bag? What are your blogging essentials?
A big thank you to Sakroots for sponsoring today’s post and helping me be a much more organized blogger!
