Spring has only been here for two weeks, but I’ve already settled into a “uniform” for the season! If you see me out and about, chances are that I’ll be rocking three things.
1. Brightly colored clothing. (Bonus points for coral… my obsession is going 3 years strong.)
Despite my paleness, I truly love brightly colored clothing. This little popover from J.Crew Factory is one of my new favorite pieces. It’s so easy (that’s another necessary element to my spring uniform) and comfortable. Other staples for this season that you’ve seen in other posts – my coral dress from Tommy Hilfiger, long sleeved shift dress with vibrant pops of coral, and a gorgeous Cobalt blue rain coat from Marley Lilly.
2. Natural Hair & Makeup
If it comes down to having perfectly coiffed hair or another 30 minutes curled up in bed, 90% of the time I’m choosing the latter! #zZzZ I wash my hair every night before bed, and then in the morning, I brush it and pull the front pieces back with a vintage barrette. My hair is naturally stick straight, but I think the shampoo & conditioner that I swear by give it a little texture.
I also try to keep my makeup pretty natural. I have found an amazing foundation that gives me a super natural glow. To complete the natural look, I go with a little bit of bronzer, shimmery eye shadow, and a coat of mascara.
3. Pastel Jewelry
I have been wearing white & pastel jewelry non-stop over the past couple of weeks. The white bracelet in the photo above has become a staple, along with another little gold and blue enamel bracelet. The colors remind me of the little pastel Easter eggs that I used to hunt for as a child!
