Sundays are blogging days in my world. And just about every Sunday, I put out an open call asking my friends on Twitter what I should blog about. This post is thanks to one of those responses!
A large chunk of my wardrobe is from J. Crew & J. Crew Factory. The Factory store is usually having some kind of amazing sale, and for the most part, everything I’ve purchased there has been high quality. (The one exception to the rule is my favorite hot pink paper bag skirt who met an untimely death when I slipped on a patch of ice on Valentine’s Day… Rest in peace, my friend.)
With that being said, here are my J. Crew + Factory fall favorites:
The summer before my sophomore year of college started up, my dad bought me a very overpriced sweatshirt from J.Crew and told me I better wear it. He would probably be grossed out with how much I wore that thing. It was the coziest sweatshirt I have ever owned. This sweatshirt is so similar, and also benefits a fund that rescues, hand raises, and reintegrates elephants! I’m encouraging you to splurge on this one.
This blouse is perfect for work. I can see myself tucking it into a pencil skirt or wearing it on casual Friday with dark denim skinny jeans and a great pair of heels. I’d also throw on a gold necklace. (Seeing as how I’ve planned a whole outfit around this piece, I should probably purchase it.)
I never ever thought I would become one of “those women” who wears heels to work everyday. But now that I’ve been introducing them into my wardrobe, I want to buy a million pairs. I never purchased a pair of boyfriend jeans because I didn’t wear heels, but I am loving the combo shown in this picture!
I own a ton of these tees, and I am obsessed with them + this shade of oxblood. (I’m actually wearing one as I type this.) They’re lightweight and comfy and perfect for layering. I usually go up a size on mine because I like them to fit a bit baggy. For $14.50 each, now is the time to stock up!
I think this sweater is perfect for days when it’s a little chilly outside, but not cool enough for a coat. I love that it has front pockets, because who doesn’t love pockets?!
Pockets and leather – two of my favorite things! I will probably go all black with this piece – black leggings + black combat boots.
My love for leather does not discriminate, whether it be a touch of leather or an entire “leather” dress. I would wear this with a fun statement necklace and classic black or nude pumps!
I saved my favorite piece for last! I can definitely see myself wearing this to work. It reminds me of a motorcycle jacket with the funky zippers – a nice edgy touch to a classic piece!
What are your favorited J. Crew + Factory pieces for fall? Did I leave something out?
Hope everyone is having a great Monday!
Note: I do not own any of the photos above, and I have linked them back to their appropriate site. Also, this is not a sponsored post and all opinions are my own.
