It seems like a lot of people around me are having surgery or have made emergency trips to the hospital lately. My mom had rotator cuff surgery last week, and one of my best friends will be having eye surgery next week. After my mom had surgery, I realized there were a lot of things that I could have given her ahead of time that would have made things easier on her. So I will definitely be prepared for my best friend’s eye surgery! If someone you know is hospitalized, needs surgery, or is just super sick, here are some helpful hints on items to include in a gift basket for them.
I’ve had my fair share of surgeries, medical procedures, and hospital stays. These make up remover wipes are a lifesaver, especially when you have to wait so many days before you’re allowed to bathe!
Again, a lifesaver when you can’t wash your hair or just don’t have the energy to. It’s the only kind of dry shampoo that I use, and it’s a plus that it’s super cheap!
Don’t forget about including snacks to take medication with! Other snack recommendations are pretzel crisps & veggie straws.
Depending on your budget, you may want to include some comfy jammies!
