I don’t know about y’all, but to me, there is just something about a man in a bow tie that just makes me swoon. Bow ties are so dapper, and I feel like when a man wears one, there’s just a certain air about him. My boyfriend wears a bow tie almost every day, and it just adds a little touch of class to any look.
I was quite intrigued when asked to do a bow tie review for Carolina Cotton Bow Ties. After doing a little work for a clothing company and a lot of shopping with my boyfriend, I’ve started to learn a bit about what makes a bow tie “quality.” When I shop and see something that I like, I like to rub the fabric between my fingers before I do anything else. The fabric makes or breaks it for me. (And if you every watch me do this, you will probably become instantly second hand embarrassed because it’s very reminiscent of Isla Fisher’s character in Confessions of a Shopaholic.)
Ethan sent me a grey gingham seersucker bow tie to review, and a navy seersucker one to give away to one lucky reader! Naturally, the first thing I did was put the bow ties to the “touch test”… These babies feel awesome. Like I could not stop touching them. (Don’t worry, I refrained from rubbing them up against my face. That would have been
heavenly weird.) The fabrics are amazing, and you can tell that you’re holding a quality piece.
My favorite thing about these pieces is that they are handcrafted bow ties. That’s right – Ethan and his momma make all of their products here in the South, and almost all of their materials are purchased locally! They also handle custom orders, for all of you bridal belles out there that are wedding planning.
I promise y’all that all of my reviews are 100% honest, so here’s my honest opinion on this brand – I am so humbled to partner with them. They’re a brand that thinks of it all – even sending little instruction cards on how to tie a bow tie for a first timer. I highly recommend Ethan and Carolina Cotton Bow Ties, and I hope that y’all will take a moment to check them out!
And now for the GIVEAWAY! I know that most of my readers are female and probably don’t wear bow ties… However, they make a great gift! Good luck!
