I have been seeing so many fun trends around for spring! Spring fever always makes me feel like I need to buy a million new pieces for my wardrobe, but there are some pieces that I’m kind of leery of for myself. I know 23 isn’t old by any means, but I’m starting to feel like I’ve aged out of some fun wardrobe pieces. I dress pretty modestly, and I spend five days a week sitting behind a desk, so I have a hard time justifying these purchases, especially when I’m not sure how I feel about them or where I would wear them… So I’m asking your opinion on some pieces!
I know that some of y’all probably view these as a wardrobe staple! However, I’m so nervous to try them out because I spray tan frequently, and I’m also just a super messy person who is prone to getting dirty.
I think these are absolutely darling! However, I don’t go to festivals. Maybe they would be fun to wear to the downtown concert series in my hometown?
I feel like denim cutoffs are one of those things that can come across as really trashy if not worn correctly. I see some girls wear them, and they really pull them off! I just wonder if this is something I should leave to the high schoolers.
Does anyone remember when Britney Spears first came on to the scene and she used to always wear crop tops? I wanted on so badly, but my parents would have nothing of it. I was raised that it was never appropriate to show midriff, but as I’ve gotten older, my mom has encouraged me to flaunt my figure because “you won’t have it forever!” Again, I feel like this is one of those pieces that come across as trashy if executed incorrectly.
So what are your opinions on this pieces? Can I wear them?! And if so, where?! I can’t wait to hear what y’all have to say! Happy Humpday 🙂
