Small Business Saturday Specials

Happy Small Business Saturday, y'all!  This is seriously one of my favorite days and favorite posts of the year!  I come from generations of small business owners and entrepreneurs, and I grew up around two - my papaw's welding business and my mom's preschool.  My first job out of college was in small business development, and I struggle to put into words what a rewarding experience that was.

I hope you'll take a second this afternoon to check out some small businesses who are running specials and consider doing some of your holiday shopping through them!

Confetti Social - 20% off all one time services (must register here)

I met Confetti Social's owner Jenny through Millennial Blogger Network, and she has become one of my absolute best friends.  Watching her start and grow her business this year has been unreal, and I'm so proud of her and impressed by her.  If you're a blogger or a small business owner, take advantage of her special on the Pinterest Revamp package, social media consulting, and blog consulting packages.  (PS - This would make a great gift for someone!)

Megan Coonelly Art - 25% off with code 'thankful25'

One of my favorite things about Instagram is following artists, and Megan Coonelly's Instagram account quickly became one of my favorites.  Her art is so girly and fun - macarons, Louis Vuitton print, lipstick, stilettos, designer handbags, Jackie O... what more could you ask for?!  (PS - Blake Lively owns one of her pieces!)  Art can get expensive, so if you're buying on a budget, check out the tab on her website that features art under $200.

Rose Water Designs - 40% off with code 'shopsmall' through 7 PM

Earlier this year, Rose Water Designs' owner Lauren designed a gorgeous necklace for me with the date I was declared cancer free.  (You can see it here!)  A few months later, she designed another gorgeous piece with a special message for my friend Cori.  The craftsmanship of her pieces is unrivaled, and you truly feel like your piece was made with love.

Shop Preppy Gator - 30% off with code 'SMALLBIZSATURDAY'

If you like monogrammed or custom embroidered goodies, my friend Lauren is your gal!  She's more than just a monogram goddess, y'all.  Along with running Shop Preppy Gator, Lauren teaches full time and is involved in her community.  What I really love about Lauren is her desire to please the customer.  If she doesn't have what you want, she takes custom orders.

The Perky Goat - 15% off with code 'HOLIDAY2016'

The Perky Goat is a small business that strives to support other small businesses.  The monthly coffee subscription service features a "Roaster of the Month" and information on the roaster and the products, along with a special bonus item.  It is a company that strives to support the American Dream, and the world could always use a little bit more of that.

Happy shopping, sweet friends, and happy Saturday!  What are your weekend plans?

  1. The Perky Goat sounds like something I (& basically everyone in my family) would love! I adore supporting small businesses-two years ago I bought my dress on small business Saturday & loved having it come from a local boutique :)

  5. Shopping small is so important! I didn't do a lick of shopping yet though lol

  6. I didn't shop Small Business Saturday this year, but I have ordered some gifts for friends from small businesses! Definitely always good to shop around :-)

    xoxo A

  7. Thanks for this, I am looking into Confetti Social right now!

  8. I love supporting small businesses any time of the year but it just makes me happy that there is a day to celebrate them. I'd much rather give local gifts from small shops for Christmas than giving people items from big resellers. Thanks for sharing this list!
