Savannah Wishlist

Graduating college pretty much rocked my world.  I had this nice little life that I was super used to, and the best part was living with my sorority sisters sophomore through senior year.  (I even chose to live in the sorority dorms my senior year, which meant using a community shower for the first time in my life!)  Every summer, since graduation, I've taken a weekend getaway with some sisters.  This year, four of us are heading to Savannah for my grand little's bachelorette party!

The biggest struggle for me when hanging out with "younger girls" is that they have these killer, fun wardrobes, and I end up looking like the Mommy of the group.  Here are some pieces that I'd love to pick up for my trip - a few are more fun, and a few stick to my classic nature!

Lilly Pulitzer Palazzo Pants ||  I've spent a ridiculous amount of my life being anti-Palazzo.  But then I saw someone wearing these Lilly pants and realized they would be perfect for looking put together on lazy days or travel days!  Pair them with a basic white tee, metallic Jacks, and a tassel necklace, and you've got the perfect casual cute look!

Straw Tote ||  When I travel, I usually take two bags - a big tote for day and a small crossbody for night.  I think this little straw tote would be perfect - I can carry my tumbler, a snack, and any goodies that I may buy.

Josie Maran Argan Color Stick ||  On vacation, I like to keep my makeup as simple as possible during the day.  I think this would be great because it's versatile, and I also love that it has argan oil in it, which is my newest obsession!  (Thanks to my friend Kaitlin at Heaps of Me for the recommendation!)

A Flirty Little Dress ||  I love seersucker, so this dress is a no brainer!  I usually don't let myself buy dresses that aren't also work appropriate, but I need to add more fun pieces to my wardrobe, and I think this could be versatile for summer functions.

Romper ||  I realized this weekend that I no longer own a romper.  That must change!  I think the lace makes it a little less casual than a regular cotton or jersey romper, which makes it perfect for going out to a semi-fancy dinner with friends!

St. Tropez Tanning Essentials in Shower Gradual Tan ||  It's no secret that I'm pasty... y'all have seen pictures of me!  I really want to give this product a try!  I'm a little scared by self tanners, but I feel like this one is something that I can manage.

Jack Rogers Alana Sandal ||  I don't think it's possible to have too many tassels or Jack Rogers sandals.  Combine them, and I'm sold!  (PS - I've been seeing this style on sale a lot lately!)

If you want to shop my wishlist, I've tagged everything + some other options below :)

Did I leave anything off my list?  Anything that I must have for a weekend girls trip to Savannah?
(If there's anything I need to check out while I'm there, I'd love for you to share it with me!!)

Happy Tuesday, y'all!  Hope you'll stop by for tomorrow's Wednesday Wisdom :)

If I thought it would fit me I would order it right this minute. Sadly I suffer from a long torso or as I like to call it #tallpeopleproblems, lol. Awesome find!

  8. I really like that romper. I don't own one but I think that when I invest in one I want to get a solid color so I can accessorize it a bunch of different ways.

  10. I love this wish list! Seriously, the pants, dress and romper are adorable. I'm still a collegiate member of my sorority so it is great to see that you still keep in touch with your fam bam- and I totally get the Mom thing. I'm the G and almost GG so I'm the same. Can't wait to see pictures from your trip

  21. HAHA you are so me! I'm friends with the "younger girls" of my sorority too and feel old more than half the time. Also, if you are petite, buy the Lilly palazzo pants in the kids section. I got some that are like a L in kids and they are the perfect length and were WAY less expensive than the "grown up" ones lol

  22. That romper is TO DIE FOR! I'm obsessed with powder blues and purples this season. You should totally get it! Pair it with some hot heels or wedges and you won't risk looking like the mom of the group...trust!

  26. Since I just got home from Savannah (from my honeymoon) I'm just going to tell you-make sure you have the most comfortable shoes you own, even if they aren't the cutest. We walked everywhere (averaging 6 miles a day!) & I definitely had to invest in some better shoes!

I can't wait to hear all about your trip :)

  27. Ah I absolutely LOVE those palazzos. I still haven't jumped aboard the palazzo bandwagon yet, but they look so comfy and cute! Also if you try that self-tanner PLEASE post about it (or at least text me about it) and help out your fellow pasty girls! Also my wardrobe is transitioning more to a "mom" style, even my mom is noticing saying my Lilly Pulitzer elsa's look "old." I'd rather look classic with a touch of trendy any day! Plus I love your style!

I hope you have a fabulous weekend in Savannah!
