Mother's Day is only five days away! Have you picked up anything for your Momma yet? Last week, I shared a post with you full of gift ideas. I live in a small town, so in my case, a lot of those gifts would have to be ordered. So if you're in the same boat & need a gift that you can pick up at a local store, here are my "last minute" gift ideas, as well as ideas for how to put a "personal touch" with them!
Pedicure gift certificate + bottle of nail polish || Gift cards for services are a great gift, but I never like to give them alone! If you're giving a gift certificate for a spa service, pick up a little something that goes along with it if your budget allows.
Plants || I don't know about y'all, but my mom really likes plants. If you know what she likes or usually grows, get her that! If not, succulents can be a pretty safe bet. (I also really like to gift hanging baskets and ferns to women in my family) Bonus points - Paint the planter yourself or offer to help her plant the flowers!
Personalized photo gift || While curating my gallery wall, I've been ordering prints on different backgrounds (canvas, wood, metal, etc.) You would be surprised at what all you can order and pick up same day at your Walgreens or CVS photo center!
Starbucks gift card + cute mug || This is such a classic gift, but definitely an appreciated one! Bonus points - Design your own DIY mug or get one of those cheesy ones with your photo on it! Gifts that make people laugh are good gifts, too :)
Inspirational book || My mom isn't super into inspirational books, but when I'm not really sure what to buy her for a holiday, I buy her a new coffee table book! (We love true crime, so most of our coffee table books are about that! Haha.) Bonus points - Make a DIY bookmark to go with it! Write her a nice little note and laminate it :)
Have you picked up your momma's Mother's Day Gift yet?!
Happy Tuesday & Happy Cinco de Mayo! Will you be celebrating?!
