If you read my post about a day in my life, you know I love to indulge in a cup of hot tea at my desk. But I have a confession to make... I am a tea hoarder. On any given day, I have at least four boxes of tea in my little desk cabinet and usually four completely different boxes of tea at home. For my birthday, I asked for a tea kettle. I. love. tea.
I was thrilled when given the opportunity to test out Kiss Me Organic's Dandelion Root Tea. For starters, I love how pretty their packaging is. It's cheerful and sunny, but still very calming at the same time. When I went to take my first sip of the tea, I was terrified that it was going to taste like dirt. (After a couple of bad experiences with certain teas, I like to mentally prepare myself.) Y'all this tea is good.
The tea is made from aromatic hibiscus, cinnamon powder, and dandelion root. It has just a touch of cinnamon, so the taste isn't overpowering. It's all organic, it's vegan, and - my personal favorite - it's naturally caffeine free. The tea is supposed to leave you feeling tranquil, and that it does!
The tranquil nature of this tea makes it perfect for unwinding with when I sit down at night to work on blog content.
What's your favorite time to enjoy a cup of hot tea? Do you have a favorite kind?
Happy Tuesday!

I tried dandelion root tea once before and it was really pretty good! I've recently been on a decaff green tea kick with a cup before bed.

DeleteTea is my favorite drink - it is just so comforting and relaxing! My favorite is green tea with a hint of jasmin, smells and tastes amazing!

Ooh, that sounds so yummy! I will have to try that one out, Mel :) Thanks for the suggestion! Xo
DeleteNormally I drink green tea in the afternoons as an occasional alternative to coffee. I have never tried dandelion root tea before, but it sounds good!

I just had a glass of green tea! Are we twins? :) You should definitely give it a try! :)
DeleteYou remind me of my Big sister. She has a huge tea addiction and a dresser--yes, a dresser--filled with teas and a colour-coding system for them, too. I love any fruit- or citrus-fragrant teas, personally. But a cup of mint green is my go-to if I'm ever undecided!

I bet your sister and I would hit it off! I've never tried mint.. I will add that to my list :) Xo
DeleteI love caffeine free tea before bed- and I too have a little collection going! Sometimes I will drink a black tea in the afternoon if I need a little pick me up, but tea is mainly a night time ritual for me. I have never tried dandelion root tea before, but I think I might. Thanks for the review!

DeleteI'm obsessed with tea too! Especially since it's been too cold to walk to a Starbucks from my office, I've been drinking nothing but tea and can honestly drink like three cups a day haha. But, this sounds so good. I need to try it!!

I have some chamomile in my stash! Let me know what you think :)
DeleteMan, I wish I was a tea drinker. I really get envious of all you tea drinkers. It's like you're a part of something special and exclusive. I want to be a part of it but I just can't stand the taste! I don't mind peach ice tea - the lipton kind that you buy at the supermarket. I know it's nothing close to "real" and "proper" tea and that is probably why I dig it so much.

DeleteYears ago, I would just drink ANY tea! Loved it, but my friend from Canada just sent me some specialty loose teas and they are delicious. So I've been sampling the different flavors. That one you're drinking is nice!
