Ladylike in Leather

East Tennessee has been a snowy mess for the past week and a half, but I love my new faux leather dress so much that I couldn't let a little snow stop me from having a lunch break photo shoot!  What's better than a cute new dress & a good hair day?  Not many things, my friends.

Dress: Banana Republic (similar) | Blazer:  J. Crew | Tights:  Target | Flats:  Jessica Simpson
White Bracelet:  Francesca's (similar)| Red Bracelet:  White House Black Market (similar)
Lip Color: MAC Russian Red | Nail Color:  OPI Glitzerland

My favorite thing about this dress is that it is faux leather at the top and tweed on the bottom - the perfect mix of edgy & ladylike.

What do y'all think about the leather trend?  Happy Tuesday!

XX,

SS

  6. That dress is SO cute!! I love the detailing on it.

I've heard about the ice storm you've been dealing with down there. It's been freezing cold where I live, but nothing is worse than ice/snow!

  7. Your hair looks so good! Not a good hair day, a great hair day I think! :)

Plus that dress is really nice, I like the mix of textures. Like you pointed out, it's a good balance.

  11. First of all, I have to say that you are SO brave to take off your blazer in that snow-but it was so worth it because I love being able to see the top of that dress! It's such a great work-piece :)
